Maura’s Pendant

This pendant epitomizes the style of Colleen Lappe Jewelry. Maura brought the center 2 ct tanzanite to me as a loose stone she had purchase on a trip to Tanzania. Her and her sister bought them to commemorate the big family trip. In addition to supplying the tanzanite, she also had some gemstones from her grandma’s jewelry collection that she was looking to incorporate. The rubies on the N/S/E/W point of this necklace came out of a bracelet of her grandma’s which add a little more sentimental flair to it. Maura was very open minded to out-of-the-box designs and after looking at three different final styles she picked this one. I love how open to alternative design Maura was on this piece, it wouldn’t have been possible without her trust and open mindedness and for that I thank her.
