This necklace was a 30th birthday gift from mother to daughter. The idea was to use the diamond from her mother’s old engagement ring and reset it into something fresh. Molly was looking for something that could be worn both dressed up or everyday. Early on, we played around with the idea of a heart setting but ultimately decided on something a bit more classic. We went with a thick bezel setting on a thick rolo chain. As a fun little detail and ode to the original design, we added a heart to the back opening. This necklace is 15” in length which ends up landing right above the clavicle for an extra dramatic touch. This necklace gives such a fun twist to a classic diamond solitaire pendant.
