This subtle yet meaningful necklace was gifted from a mother to her daughter on her wedding day. Kathleen, the mother, came to me to turn her old engagement ring into a necklace that her daughter could wear everyday. She wanted the necklace to remind her how much she loves her every time she puts it on. To do this she had the idea of incorporating ‘XO’ in some way. I took that and created the bale of the necklace into a lightly abstracted ‘X’ and bezel set the diamond so it could be the ‘O’. This necklace turned into a wonderfully simple design but it packs so much love.
