Maria’s Engagement Ring

A very special engagement ring for my soon to be sister-in-law, Maria. She love's two-tone jewelry and had her eyes on a variation of a three stone ring. I wanted to design something in that realm that was fresh yet timeless. The talking point of this ring is the cut of diamonds used. I went with a brilliant old mine cut diamond for the center. It’s a very unique cut that’s somewhere in between cushion and oval and it has incredible light reflection due to its chunky facets. To complement it I went with matching half moons which seamlessly line up with the sides of the center. The overall look is that of one big rock. The two-tone effect came from using a buttery 18k yellow for the shank and white gold for the head giving it that beloved mixed metals look.
